Ad targeting changes that Facebook announced:
1.
Removing the ability to target by: Age, Gender, and ZIP Code.
2.
Removing the ability to target by demographic and behavioral data, in addition to substantially reducing available Interest targeting options. Any detailed targeting option describing or appearing to relate to protected classes will also be available.
3.
Removing ability to exclude Interests from targeting.
4.
Updated location targeting: Requires a minimum of 15-miles radius for city/town targeting and/or pin drops.
5.
No access to Lookalike Audiences. Instead, advertisers will be able to create a Special Ad Audience, which doesn’t consider gender, age, ZIP Code, or other similar categories.
